Texas Appleseed teamed up with Lewis Carnegie and Page/Dyal to create I Heart Justice. We give a nod to Texas Appleseed's sister center in Nebraska, who sparked the idea through their long-running poster project. Given Texas' vibrant arts communities and the unique issues that the people and children in our state face that need magnifying, we knew uniting art and justice could have an impact toward awareness and change.

Texas Appleseed is a public interest justice center. Our nonprofit works to change unjust laws and policies that prevent Texans from realizing their full potential. We anchor a dynamic network of pro bono partners and collaborators to develop and advocate for innovative and practical solutions to complex issues. Texas Appleseed also conducts data-driven research that uncovers inequity in laws and policies and identifies solutions for lasting, concrete change. When justice is beyond reach, Texas Appleseed provides the ladder.
