    ARTIST'S STATEMENT
As a parent of young children myself, the theme of homeless youth resonated with me. I believe that there is no such thing as being born evil. In my opinion, this is a learned trait, and when we abandon our youth — who are our future — we are abandoning ourselves. It is our obligation to love and nurture our youth.
