    ARTIST'S STATEMENT
The school-to-prison pipeline is really a catch-all phrase for an interconnected series of complex issues. In my view, the poster as a medium is a great tool for simplifying, humanizing, and censuring these kinds of wicked problems. So, rather than risking being naive to design a poster that might insinuate some kind of solution, or be too convoluted in trying to explain the workings of the pipeline, I decided to boil the problem down to a fundamental truth: We need to save our children from this unjustly system.
