ARTIST'S STATEMENT
As a survivor of the Onion Creek flood in 2014, I saw firsthand the difference between response and treatment based on zip code. Had this flood affected a more lucrative zip code, the response and the aid would have been completely different. I feel strongly that all Texans and Americans should have the same basic human rights and access to everything our country has to offer, regardless of where they call home.
