ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I was shocked to read the data on [Texas payday and auto title] loans. My poster is direct to the point using the classic idiom. In some cases, this is a "leg" that supports an entire household.
Rene Cruz lives and works in Houston, Texas. His work has been featured in local exhibitions since 2005, including presentations at Lawndale Art Center, The Joanna, and Domy Books. Rene is a member of the artist collective Sketch Klubb — chances are he’s drawing right now.
