ARTIST'S STATEMENT
In ancient Egypt, one's heart was weighed against the feather of truth in the final judgment of their soul. If it proved lighter, infinite immortal freedom; if it proved heavier, utter oblivion. This is my take on that mythology using classic symbols for justice (the snake, the sword, the scale) reimagined. Now, one's heart is weighed against one thing — money. 
Lauren Dickens is an independent designer specializing in branding, packaging and puns. With a broad range of capabilities, Lauren has developed a clear understanding of design processes. Through her extensive experience in the industry, she's formed an impressive skill set including brand identity design, illustration, typography and packaging solutions.
